Screen Research CLF (Classic Line Fixed Frame) is a premium fixed-frame projector screen range designed for reference-level home cinema installations. The screen features a precision-engineered aluminium frame developed to minimise unwanted light reflection. Its angular inner profile redirects stray light away from the projection surface and viewing area, enhancing perceived contrast and image depth. The frame is finished with a velvety flock coating that fully absorbs light, ensuring optimal visual performance even in high-contrast scenes.
A constant fabric tensioning system maintains a perfectly flat projection surface at all times. Elastic tensioning cables evenly distribute force across the screen material, preventing waves, sagging or distortion and guaranteeing consistent image geometry throughout the lifespan of the product.
Designed specifically for dedicated home cinema environments, the CLF screen integrates seamlessly into modern interiors. The concealed wall-mounting system is built directly into the rear of the frame, allowing the screen to sit flush against the wall with no visible brackets for a clean, architectural finish.
The CLF range is available with ClearPix acoustically transparent projection surfaces, allowing front speakers to be positioned directly behind the screen without compromising sound quality or image integrity. ClearPix woven fabrics eliminate moiré, preserve accurate colour balance, provide a uniform white field with no hot spotting, and offer minimal acoustic insertion loss. These materials are certified by THX, ISF and PVA, ensuring compatibility with high-end cinema standards.
